Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Fotbal Club Vaslui's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Andrei Oloieru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Traian Traian notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Andrei Oloieru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 13th minute of play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Traian Traian in the 15th minute of play. In the 16th match minute, Fotbal Club Vaslui was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Visti Hjelmstoft to maneuver through the defense. Fotbal Club Vaslui's Andrei Oloieru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 22nd minute of play. After 23 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Macos Graciani. Luca Rouco made in the 28th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Joel Gaona. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Traian Traian's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Traian Traian sped through Mexico's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Dante Lacasa. In the 33rd minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Oloieru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 36 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Traian Traian came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38th minute, Gil Fernandez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Joel Gaona hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luca Zorita in the 42nd minute of play forced Fotbal Club Vaslui's goalkeeper Andrei Oloieru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andrei Oloieru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 45th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Traian Traian made the kick off in the second half. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Traian Traian's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 68th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Oloieru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 73rd minute, Traian Traian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Andrei Oloieru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Andrei Oloieru, 2-1. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Maurinho Maranhense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurinho Maranhense in the 87th minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrei Oloieru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Andrei Oloieru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 90th minute of the match. Andrei Oloieru was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Alberto Tafalla showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 92 minute of play. Mexico were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
