Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hannes Haraldsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 2nd minute. Cristian Sancho who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Alfons Glad when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leif Löfdahl in the 7th minute of the match. With a little luck, Segmon IF's Alfons Glad got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 14 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lars-Erik Lidström in the 17th minute of play. Alfons Glad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luis Andino in the 22nd minute of the match. Alfons Glad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luis Andino went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Robert Dubiel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfons Glad was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Felix Montenegro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 30 minute of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Dubiel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cristian Sancho hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 39 played minutes Segmon IF got a freekick which was hit by Lars-Erik Lidström. Viktor Biörnberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Dubiel in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The wind increased when Leif Löfdahl made the kick off in the second half. Daniel Zorita hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 64 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfons Glad was left in no man's land by his defense there! Leif Löfdahl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. In the 74th minute, Johannes Rosin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Dubiel in the 76th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Cristian Sancho managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristian Sancho was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfons Glad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Alfons Glad didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 83rd minute of play forced Segmon IF's goalkeeper Alfons Glad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Luis Andino got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Alfons Glad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Cristian Sancho came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Ecuador fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristian Sancho couldn't finish the play. Ecuador's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
