Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Şentürk Uzlet started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Honduras booed when EdirnE ÇeltiK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Şentürk Uzlet didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 9 played minutes EdirnE ÇeltiK got a freekick which was hit by İsmet Coşkun. A collision led to Honduras getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Ivan Navarro hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by Hami Oğuzbala in the 13th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Honduras's Esteban Carvallo. Lautaro Navarro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Şentürk Uzlet in the 18th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Şentürk Uzlet got free with Lautaro Navarro in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 24 minutes into the match, EdirnE ÇeltiK's Şentürk Uzlet sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lautaro Navarro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Sebastian Villa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 27th minute Edmundo Espiga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmet Kadri Arkan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of EdirnE ÇeltiK booed when Honduras was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sebastian Villa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lautaro Navarro made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Şentürk Uzlet sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 43 minutes, Şentürk Uzlet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EdirnE ÇeltiK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Şentürk Uzlet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Ahmet Kadri Arkan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 51st minute, which inside left pole to 0-1. 54 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Şentürk Uzlet came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Luca Espinar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şentürk Uzlet in the 63rd minute of play forced Honduras's goalkeeper Lautaro Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yavuz Selim Isfahanlı kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th match minute, EdirnE ÇeltiK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by İshak Orgunalp to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Navarro came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by EdirnE ÇeltiK's Şentürk Uzlet. But to his dismay, Şentürk Uzlet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Lautaro Navarro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Şentürk Uzlet's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmundo Espiga in the 91st minute of play forced EdirnE ÇeltiK's goalkeeper Ahmet Kadri Arkan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ivan Navarro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Honduras's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because EdirnE ÇeltiK had won, even though Honduras had held more of the ball.
