The supporters of Dunamis booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Leguizamo didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Manuel Kinsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Silverio Xabat fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dunamis's protests and gave Silverio Xabat a yellow card for diving instead. In the 20th match minute, Dunamis was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Silverio Xabat to maneuver through the defense. Abram Luque sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the game, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Herminio Luke made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Jimeno Garaile kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Dunamis's Hermengildo Constancio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luis Rubio in the 33 minute of the game. Herminio Luke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moises Fernandino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dunamis's Jimeno Garaile quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Mateo Leguizamo, made in the 39th minute of the game. The throw-in from Valentino Ferrant in the 45th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Dunamis's Hermengildo Constancio. Dunamis's Hermengildo Constancio managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Luis Rubio in the 46 minute of the game. The throw-in from Luis Rubio in the 47th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Dunamis's Hermengildo Constancio. The Dunamis players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. El Salvador were winning 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Virgilio Arias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The throw-in from Marco Tamayo in the 56th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Dunamis's Hermengildo Constancio. 65 minutes into the game, Mateo Leguizamo threw the ball into play from the sideline. Dunamis's Americo Costante quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. A collision led to Dunamis getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Jimeno Garaile hit a great ball. When Mateo Leguizamo was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 73 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Mateo Leguizamo got a free kick in the 74th minute. Moises Fernandinos short, quick shot in the 76thth minute got Herminio Luke to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Herminio Luke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Luque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Luque in the 78th minute of play forced Dunamis's goalkeeper Herminio Luke to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Herminio Luke managed to avoid a goal in the 80thth minute, when El Salvador's Moises Fernandino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Marco Tamayo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herminio Luke having to interfere. After 85 minutes of play, El Salvador's Moises Fernandino made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herminio Luke was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luis Rubio made in the 94th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Dunamis's Americo Costante. With his leg Herminio Luke managed to avoid a goal in the 97thth minute, when El Salvador's Moises Fernandino fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched El Salvador eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
