Emanuel Podgoreanu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cassius Byrne went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 30 minutes into the game, USA's Monty Rogers nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sam Campbell in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal.
