Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Moscatelli having to interfere. Luca Zorita kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 14th minute, Lautaro Mancebo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Franco Moscatelli was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. 17 minutes into the game, Joel Gaona cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Franco Moscatelli was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Moscatelli having to interfere. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Luca Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Luca Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Franco Moscatelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Franco Moscatelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 29th minute of play. The supporters of Mexico booed when La Scaloneta was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Concetto Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 31 minutes, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lautaro Mancebo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luca Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Franco Moscatelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 46 minutes into the match, Enrique Rozarius had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enrique Rozarius was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The La Scaloneta players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mexico were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gilberto Izel made a kick off. 57 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Franco Moscatelli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. The crowd rose to their feet as Mexico's Joel Gaona slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Franco Moscatelli. That made the score 1-3 after 60 minutes of play. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Enrique Rozarius in the 64th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Franco Moscatelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Franco Moscatelli had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alberto Tafalla. Alberto Tafalla might have been able to make a better finish in the 73rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Franco Moscatelli. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alberto Tafalla ran back to his position shaking his head. Franco Moscatelli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Joel Gaona got a free kick in the 76th minute. A collision led to La Scaloneta getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Polat Aranda hit a great ball. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Franco Moscatelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute Gilberto Izel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Franco Moscatelli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luca Zorita in the 88th minute of play. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Izel, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. The audience was convinced that Alberto Tafalla's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franco Moscatelli was relentless in the 94th minute of the game.
