Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The Valar's William Rigg started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when William Rigg got free with Pedro Manzanares in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when William Rigg sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of The Valar booed when Colombia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlando Tafalla didn't get a good kick on the ball. 15 minutes into the game, Colombia's Santino Seco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emmanuel Canturri made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as William Rigg kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 2-1 in the 23 minute of play. After 29 minutes of play, Colombia's Luis Cazalla made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emmanuel Canturri was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 33rd minute William Rigg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pedro Manzanares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers William Rigg in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pedro Manzanares saved Colombia from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Axel Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Colombia's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Montenegro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emmanuel Canturri breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 42nd minute, William Rigg reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Pedro Manzanares. The goal made the score 3-2. Emmanuel Canturri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joshua Garrido, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 48th minute Colombia were awarded a corner. Axel Montenegro went to the cornerflag to take it. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-2 at half-time.

William Rigg might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Pedro Manzanares. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. William Rigg ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by William Rigg in the 58th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abram Sarmiento kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. A collision led to The Valar getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. William Rigg hit a great ball. In the 63rd match minute, The Valar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Rigg to maneuver through the defense. Axel Montenegro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emmanuel Canturri read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Emmanuel Canturri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 68th minute of play. With a little luck, The Valar's Emmanuel Canturri got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. William Rigg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With an all-out effort, Colombia's Emmanuel Canturri threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Ignacio Mastache, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The throw-in from Martin Mols in the 90th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Colombia's Kevin Mastache. 93 minutes into the match, Abram Secada had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emmanuel Canturri. The Valar's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abram Secada was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-4. The supporters of Colombia booed when The Valar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Mambru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
