Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lautaro Mancebo in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Miromir Czeszejko prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Joel Gaona scored 0-1 in the 12th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Miromir Czeszejko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 15th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miromir Czeszejko saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 16 minutes El Lobo's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Miromir Czeszejko quite easily take care of the ball. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Ekhi, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. El Lobo were awarded a corner in the 22th minute after Mexico's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guillermo Santos took the corner. In the 25th minute, Luca Zorita hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joesph Dalton in the 27th minute of play. Gabriel Sidoro hit a great ball. After 44 minutes, Humberto Ur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the El Lobo and the Mexico players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 44th match minute, El Lobo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Humberto Ur to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Joel Gaona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Miromir Czeszejko breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Joesph Dalton made a kick off. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ceferino Ekhi, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Ceferino Aztore hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 57th match minute, El Lobo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amadeo Coleira to maneuver through the defense. Joel Gaona succeeded in the game's 58th minute to get real power on a long shot . El Lobo's Miromir Czeszejko hadn't the time to block the shot which was pasted into the goal, 0-2! 63 minutes into the match, El Lobo's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Miromir Czeszejko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd minute, Joel Gaona left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 66th minute, Joel Gaona got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 68th minute of play forced El Lobo's goalkeeper Miromir Czeszejko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. El Lobo's Miromir Czeszejko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 72nd minute of play. In the 73rd minute of the match Mexico got a corner. El Lobo's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mexico's Alberto Tafalla was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 73rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Alberto Tafalla's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Miromir Czeszejko read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Miromir Czeszejko in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee showed Ceferino Ekhi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Mexico had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
