After 8 played minutes Colombia got a freekick which was hit by Orlando Tafalla. Pedro Manzanares was a little too slow when Emil Atanasiu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 11th minute. The score was now 1-0. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurențiu Todericiu in the 14th minute of play. Mugurel Slătineanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 18th minute after AFC Nirosxn 08's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. In the 20th minute of the game Doru Şelaru made a throw-in which Ştefan Bogrea played forward. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Jönsätt in the 22nd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Colombia's Axel Montenegro in the 30th minute got a chance for a shot 30th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye AFC Nirosxn 08's goalie prevented a goal. 36 minutes into the match, AFC Nirosxn 08's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Mugurel Slătineanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 minutes, Axel Montenegro made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. AFC Nirosxn 08's Mugurel Slătineanu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from David Jönsätt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abram Sarmiento stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Axel Montenegro in the 55thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mugurel Slătineanu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ştefan Bogrea in the 76th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Colombia's Ignacio Mastache got a free kick in the 79th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacio Mastache in the 86th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mugurel Slătineanu saved AFC Nirosxn 08 from getting behind. Abram Secada in the 89thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mugurel Slătineanu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 91st minute, Colombia's Abram Secada dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
