With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Milosz Sowa tried to sneak it across the goal line. 8 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebestyén Mészáros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 11 minutes into the game, Daniel Zorita cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Sebestyén Mészáros was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Botond Kecskés in the 14th minute of the match. Sebestyén Mészáros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of play. The corner ended in Daniel Zorita almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ftc05's Sebestyén Mészáros did a great save. Sebestyén Mészáros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Montenegro in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st match minute, Ftc05 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Henrik Szentes to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 22 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sebestyén Mészáros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Milosz Sowa came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Norbert Pataki sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Ftc05's Milosz Sowa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Julio Vera. Julio Vera yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Sebestyén Mészáros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 34th minute of the match. A collision led to Ftc05 getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Roland Vásárhelyi hit a great ball. Agustín Saelices sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Botond Kecskés recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milosz Sowa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 52 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Roland Vásárhelyi who took care of the corner kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Luis Andino managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Luis Andino was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebestyén Mészáros breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sebestyén Mészáros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 57th minute. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Ftc05 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roland Vásárhelyi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, Luis Andino fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Sebestyén Mészáros, passed just outside the right post. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Milosz Sowa in the 63rd minute of the match. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 67th minute after Ftc05's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. Luis Andino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 68 minutes into the match, Ftc05's goalkeeper Sebestyén Mészáros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Zorita. Sebestyén Mészáros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luis Andino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Sebestyén Mészáros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Ftc05 made a substitution. Imre Szívós replaced Kázmér Kiprich. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Agustín Saelices hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Tibor Bender came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sebestyén Mészáros having to interfere. Norbert Pataki took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Julio Vera. Ecuador's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Ecuador left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Ftc05.
