Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. ПФК Берое's Hugo Lloris played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Sancho in the 3rd minute of play. Cristian Sancho took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hugo Lloris. Hugo Lloris dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 9th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hugo Lloris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, ПФК Берое's Casper De Boeck got a free kick in the 13th minute. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Hugo Lloris tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 25th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. ПФК Берое's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Luis Andino was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 26th minute of play forced ПФК Берое's goalkeeper Hugo Lloris to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes had been played when some careless play by ПФК Берое's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. After 29 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. Yanko Gurmev might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Yanko Gurmev ran back to his position shaking his head. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd match minute, ПФК Берое was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihail Stamboldzhiev to maneuver through the defense. Hugo Lloris made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 35th minute of play. Velichko Trenkov scored 1-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Julio Vera, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Velichko Trenkov made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the match, ПФК Берое's goalkeeper Hugo Lloris had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cristian Sancho. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yanko Gurmev in the 56th minute of the match. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Velichko Trenkov in the 57th minute of play. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by ПФК Берое's Velichko Trenkov. But to his dismay, Velichko Trenkov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihail Stamboldzhiev in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th match minute, ПФК Берое was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wesly Van Leempoel to maneuver through the defense. Yanko Gurmev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Yanko Gurmev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Primitivo Andino hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Yanko Gurmev managed to get in a good position for a shot. ПФК Берое's supporters rose to their feet, but Yanko Gurmev was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A sloppy throw-in by Primitivo Andino in the 84th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by ПФК Берое's Lazar Batalov. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loukianos Konstantakis in the 86th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Loukianos Konstantakis put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Julio Vera.
