Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, FC Werdenberg's Lazarus Kurmann got a free kick in the 2nd minute. In the 3rd match minute, FC Werdenberg was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Miranda to maneuver through the defense. 4 minutes into the match, FC Werdenberg's goalkeeper Manuel Lajoie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lautaro Mancebo. Manuel Lajoie made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo sent off a good shot on target. Alberto Tafalla came free with the goalkeeper in the 8th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Manuel Lajoie could save by the left post. After 9 minutes FC Werdenberg's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. In the 11th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Luca Rouco got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Manuel Lajoie quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Manuel Lajoie came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Facundo Cadaval. But to his dismay, Facundo Cadaval quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 17th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Lajoie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Macos Graciani got a free kick in the 18th minute. 21 minutes into the game, Leonardo Leoz threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Werdenberg's Bennett Pellandini quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tudor Caragea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lautaro Mancebo's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Manuel Lajoie skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorenzo Cazalla in the 31st minute of play forced FC Werdenberg's goalkeeper Manuel Lajoie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Manuel Lajoie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 33rd minute of play. In the 38th minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Lajoie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Lajoie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Ferdinand Lobonț kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tudor Caragea made a kick off. In the 59th minute Tudor Caragea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Lajoie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 61st minute of play. Lazarus Kurmann hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. FC Werdenberg's Manuel Lajoie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Tafalla in the 66th minute of play. Manuel Lajoie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 69th minute of play. A collision led to FC Werdenberg getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Lazarus Kurmann hit a great ball. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Manuel Lajoie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Facundo Cadaval hit a great ball. Manuel Lajoie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. A collision led to FC Werdenberg getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Lazarus Kurmann hit a great ball. Manuel Lajoie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 91st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Mexico's Luca Zorita got a free kick in the 92nd minute. The supporters of Mexico booed when FC Werdenberg was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Diego Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 98th minute, Lautaro Mancebo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mexico's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
