Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. The Mexico fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Mexico's Facundo Cadaval looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tudor Caragea in the 12th minute of play. Manuel Lajoie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Facundo Cadaval in the 13th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Facundo Cadaval in the 13th minute of play forced FC Werdenberg's goalkeeper Manuel Lajoie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Luca Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Lajoie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. FC Werdenberg's Manuel Lajoie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luca Zorita in the 23rd minute of play. After 26 minutes of play, FC Werdenberg's Lazarus Kurmann made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! FC Werdenberg's Manuel Lajoie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 29th minute of play. Manuel Lajoie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Lazarus Kurmann hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Manuel Lajoie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 36th minute of the match. Manuel Lajoie came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo. But to his dismay, Lautaro Mancebo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tudor Caragea, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Tudor Caragea notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Mexico's Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tudor Caragea stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lazarus Kurmann, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Manuel Lajoie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luca Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 57th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Lajoie saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Lajoie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 60th minute of the match. A collision led to FC Werdenberg getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Tudor Caragea hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Mexico's zone, Evgeniy Babich stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal and Evgeniy Babich tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Manuel Lajoie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla in the 72nd minute of play. Manuel Lajoie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 76th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tudor Caragea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 85 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Tudor Caragea came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
