Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) El Salvador's Moises Fernandino started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 2nd minute, Alex Abbagnale managed to get in a good position for a shot. LUPI's supporters rose to their feet, but Alex Abbagnale was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Zorita breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Alex Abbagnale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bianco Attili could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 11th minute of the match, but Ricardo Zorita made a huge save. In the 17th match minute, El Salvador was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Magrina to maneuver through the defense. Alex Abbagnale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Joshua Curbelo kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. When El Salvador's Moises Fernandino in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye LUPI's goalie prevented a goal. Bernardo Orsini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marco Tamayo in the 29th minute of play. Ricardo Zorita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Abbagnale, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, Joshua Curbelo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Alex Abbagnale came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the LUPI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Abbagnale couldn't finish the play. After 36 minutes of play, LUPI's Beppe Longo made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Abbagnale in the 40th minute of play. Moises Fernandino's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Bernardo Orsini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. LUPI's Bernardo Orsini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moises Fernandino in the 44th minute of play. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Marco Tamayo got a free kick in the 45th minute. In the 47th minute, Alfredo La Penna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alex Abbagnale to make the kick off. The supporters of LUPI booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Leguizamo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 61 minutes into the match, Alex Abbagnale notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Moises Fernandino sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Mateo Leguizamo fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored El Salvador's protests and gave Mateo Leguizamo a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of LUPI booed when El Salvador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mateo Leguizamo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, El Salvador's Jorge Magrina got a free kick in the 70th minute. Alex Abbagnale scored 4-0 in the 72nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ricardo Zorita, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. LUPI's Bernardo Orsini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save LUPI from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in LUPI's zone, Moises Fernandino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Orsini came out of the goal and Moises Fernandino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. LUPI's Bernardo Orsini proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save LUPI from getting a goal against them. Ricardo Zorita stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Francesco Marrone's shot from short distance in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in LUPI's zone, Abram Luque stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bernardo Orsini came out of the goal and Abram Luque tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Abbagnale in the 89th minute of play. Moises Fernandino could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Bernardo Orsini made a huge save. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Alex Abbagnale kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. After having played for 96 minutes, Alex Abbagnale managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. LUPI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Abbagnale was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. LUPI fully deserved thier win.
