Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Petter Skarkman took the kick off in the first half of the match. A sloppy throw-in by Raphael Moore in the 9th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Protegéerna's Ossi Eloranta. After a rather tough play, Protegéerna's Ulrik Söderlund got a free kick in the 10th minute. Edward Mcdonald fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bolo Skjold having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Cassius Byrne's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bolo Skjold was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Monty Rogers in the 23rd minute of play forced Protegéerna's goalkeeper Bolo Skjold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 24 minutes into the match, USA's goalkeeper Marco Day had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Petter Skarkman. In the 26th minute, Ulrik Söderlund got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bolo Skjold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 32nd minute of play. Marco Day took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakob Lundin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes USA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Michael Näver who took care of the corner kick. Marco Day made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Arman Lingren sent off a good shot on target. In the 41st minute Jakob Lundin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Day saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bolo Skjold made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Monty Rogers in the 46th minute of play. After some careless play in the USA defense, Petter Skarkman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marco Day. The USA fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marco Day should have stopped the shot. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Cassius Byrne made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cassius Byrne in the 55th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bolo Skjold prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Lundin in the 58th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakob Lundin in the 67th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th minute Monty Rogers shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bolo Skjold saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. USA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Michael Näver ran over to the corner to take the kick. Protegéerna's Ossi Eloranta managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Raphael Moore in the 74 minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guido Python in the 75th minute of play forced USA's goalkeeper Marco Day to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Petter Skarkman took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marco Day. Marco Day dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. USA's Marco Baker was substituted for Edward Mcdonald. With a little luck, Protegéerna's Bolo Skjold got control of the ball when Marco Baker tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Khalid Parry in the 89th minute of play forced Protegéerna's goalkeeper Bolo Skjold to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bolo Skjold showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Khalid Parry, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. A throw-in in the 91st minute of the game was made by Raphael Moore with Sam Campbell as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 93 minutes into the game, Marco Baker cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Bolo Skjold was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Protegéerna's Bolo Skjold played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Khalid Parry in the 96th minute of play. In the 96th minute of the match, Khalid Parry tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bolo Skjold saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Protegéerna succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though USA had controlled the match.
