Barbas y Cosos's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! 12 minutes into the match, Coquitlam F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Hortiz came free, but Bert Labonté reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Coquitlam F.C. booed when Barbas y Cosos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tercero Pradias didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bert Labonté made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Hortiz in the 35th minute of play. Tercero Pradias came free with the goalkeeper in the 36th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Bert Labonté could save by the left post. Aztore Ortubia could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Bert Labonté made a huge save. Bert Labonté was a little too slow when Tercero Pradias got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 45th minute. The score was now 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eriberto Hortiz was the one to do the kick off. Darius Fluet's late challenge caught a Barbas y Cosos's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Darius Fluet helped the player get up and apologised. In the 51st match minute, Coquitlam F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darius Fluet to maneuver through the defense. Coquitlam F.C.'s Bert Labonté played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aztore Ortubia in the 52nd minute of play. 56 minutes into the game, Aztore Ortubia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barbas y Cosos's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coquitlam F.C. the free kick. After 58 minutes of play, Coquitlam F.C.'s Nazaire Sprague made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Koldobika Villagomez was left in no man's land by his defense there! 63 minutes into the game, Coquitlam F.C.'s Sandy Crowe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Koldobika Villagomez made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. In the 66th match minute, Barbas y Cosos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diegotxe Pinedo to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute Nazaire Sprague shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Koldobika Villagomez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Coquitlam F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Hortiz came free, but Bert Labonté reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eriberto Hortiz scored 4-3 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bert Labonté, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto Hortiz in the 79th minute of play forced Coquitlam F.C.'s goalkeeper Bert Labonté to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Tercero Pradias notched a goal, 5-3, to the right of Coquitlam F.C.'s Bert Labonté. Bert Labonté was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bert Labonté took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tercero Pradias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nazaire Sprague fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Coquitlam F.C.'s protests and gave Nazaire Sprague a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th minute, Bradley Gay hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
