Bellbird's Murphy Kenack played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandy Crowe in the 6th minute of play. Murphy Kenack made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nazaire Sprague in the 7th minute of play. After some careless play in the Bellbird defense, Nazaire Sprague kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Murphy Kenack. The Bellbird fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Murphy Kenack should have stopped the shot. Sandy Crowe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murphy Kenack having to interfere. A collision led to Bellbird getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Cain Rear hit a great ball. Sandy Crowe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Murphy Kenack showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nazaire Sprague, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When Angus Cridland got free in front of the goal in the 22nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Bert Labonté was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sandy Crowe in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Murphy Kenack saved Bellbird from getting behind. 28 minutes into the match, Nazaire Sprague had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Murphy Kenack. Bellbird's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nazaire Sprague was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 34thth minute of the game Sandy Crowe who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bellbird's Murphy Kenack was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 35 minutes into the game, Coquitlam F.C.'s Nazaire Sprague nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Murphy Kenack made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. When Bellbird's Lorimer Bundy in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Coquitlam F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. Nazaire Sprague might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Murphy Kenack. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nazaire Sprague ran back to his position shaking his head. Sandy Crowe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bert Labonté showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lorimer Bundy in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 63rd match minute, Bellbird was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cain Rear to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Murphy Kenack managed to avoid a goal in the 68thth minute, when Coquitlam F.C.'s Sandy Crowe fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lorimer Bundy in the 75th minute of play forced Coquitlam F.C.'s goalkeeper Bert Labonté to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bert Labonté showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angus Cridland, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Nazaire Sprague sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The shot was stopped by Murphy Kenack but with some difficulty. Bellbird's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Nazaire Sprague 86 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-5. After 92 played minutes Coquitlam F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sterling Rangel. Bert Labonté stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Angus Cridland's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute. Sandy Crowe who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Murphy Kenack when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cain Rear during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cain Rear kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Coquitlam F.C.'s Jame Willoughby shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 97th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Murphy Kenack but with some difficulty. The Bellbird fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Coquitlam F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
