Desiderio Etor who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 11thth minute tested the skills of Luciano de Moraes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Golden Dragon FC booed when Marfim was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Egídio Brito didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 13th minute of the match Leonides Horado shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luciano de Moraes showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reynaldo Rodrigues during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Golden Dragon FC made a substitution. Domingo Matxin replaced Marciano Filipo. After 14 played minutes Marfim got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Rodrigues. Bambang Sagala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eusébio Miranda in the 19th minute of play. In the 20th minute Desiderio Etor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute Golden Dragon FC were awarded a corner. Desiderio Etor went to the cornerflag to take it. João Vítor de Salles hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. A hard shot 23 in the game by Luisito Perrando from a close distance when the talented Luciano de Moraes managed to make a qualified save. Marfim's players were relieved. After 24th play minutes Desiderio Etor shot 3-0, a short shot which went by Luciano de Moraes and just under the crossbar into goal. After 27 minutes, Desiderio Etor made it 4-0 with a short kick to the right side. Marfim's Luciano de Moraes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 30 played minutes Golden Dragon FC got a freekick which was hit by Leonardo Alfonso. The audience was convinced that Desiderio Etor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luciano de Moraes was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 6-0.

The wind increased when Desiderio Etor made the kick off in the second half. Bambang Sagala made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aílton Melo in the 51st minute of play. The audience was convinced that Desiderio Etor's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luciano de Moraes was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Desiderio Etor in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luciano de Moraes prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 83 minutes of play, Golden Dragon FC's Desiderio Etor made it 9-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luciano de Moraes was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 86 minutes, Luisito Perrando made it 10-0 with a short kick to the right side. Marfim's Luciano de Moraes tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Golden Dragon FC! Golden Dragon FC:s Bambang Sagala showed great skill when he stopped Umberto Macedo:s penalty. After some careless play in the Golden Dragon FC defense, Umberto Macedo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bambang Sagala. The Golden Dragon FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bambang Sagala should have stopped the shot. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Golden Dragon FC had won after a very even match.
