Cenap Dengiz struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Koldobika Villagomez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Göldere FK. If Aztore Ortubia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Koldobika Villagomez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mücahit Uğursal in the 24th minute of play. When Aztore Ortubia came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Barbas y Cosos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aztore Ortubia couldn't finish the play. Mücahit Uğursal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Koldobika Villagomez having to interfere. 33 minutes into the game, Cenap Dengiz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Koldobika Villagomez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Cenap Dengiz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Koldobika Villagomez was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Şahin Gagauz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eriberto Hortiz in the 44th minute of play. Şahin Gagauz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aztore Ortubia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mücahit Uğursal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the match, Göldere FK's goal looked a bit too open when Eriberto Hortiz came free, but Şahin Gagauz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Barbas y Cosos's Koldobika Villagomez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mücahit Uğursal in the 87th minute of play.
