Luciano de Moraes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iwo Nowakowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When Aílton Melo fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marfim's protests and gave Aílton Melo a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Marfim getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Reynaldo Rodrigues hit a great ball. Luciano de Moraes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Iwo Nowakowski's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iuri dos Santos in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fryderyk Tusk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. João Vítor de Salles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Iwo Nowakowski struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Luciano de Moraes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Broniec. In the 36th match minute, Marfim was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chiquinho Melo to maneuver through the defense. After 38 played minutes Marfim got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Rodrigues. After 39 played minutes, Broniec's Wasyl Chmielecki shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luciano de Moraes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Broniec reached it. Luciano de Moraes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iwo Nowakowski in the 47th minute of the match.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Beniamin Kapinos was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Iwo Nowakowski got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Fryderyk Tusk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Vítor de Salles in the 72nd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Iuri dos Santos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fryderyk Tusk was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. In the 89th minute Beniamin Kapinos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luciano de Moraes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Marfim had won after a very even match.
