The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Katon Kartiko made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Amin. Wimbledon FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Merlin Nagasaki in the 11th minute of play forced Dadeko's goalkeeper Ali Rumangkit to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 12 played minutes Dadeko got a freekick which was hit by Usep Sondakh. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kirun Irawan in the 16th minute of play forced Wimbledon FC's goalkeeper Jonathan Amin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dadeko's Ali Rumangkit proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Dadeko from getting a goal against them. Leo Tarusbawa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Amin having to make a save. Katon Kartiko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Steven Rajah could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Ali Rumangkit made a huge save. 32 minutes into the game, Usep Sondakh was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dadeko's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wimbledon FC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Dadeko's Usep Sondakh got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After 36 minutes of play, Dadeko's Leo Tarusbawa made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Amin was left in no man's land by his defense there! 39 minutes into the match, Leo Tarusbawa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Amin. Wimbledon FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leo Tarusbawa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. A collision led to Wimbledon FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Steven Rajah hit a great ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Katon Kartiko to make the kick off. Merlin Nagasaki scored 2-3 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ali Rumangkit, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Ali Rumangkit stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mohammad Hian's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Wimbledon FC's zone, Katon Kartiko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Amin came out of the goal and Katon Kartiko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ali Rumangkit made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohammad Hian in the 77th minute of play. Hidayat Dryburgh hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 80th minute, Leo Tarusbawa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dadeko fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Sigit Soesilo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 91st minute, Fance Nainggolan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronn Abisheganaden struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Ali Rumangkit didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wimbledon FC. Ali Rumangkit showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Steven Rajah, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. After 96 minutes, Hidayat Dryburgh mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wimbledon FC and the Dadeko players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Wimbledon FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Hidayat Dryburgh hit a great ball. The Dadeko supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Dadeko would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
