Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) FC Bora Bora's Killian Jones started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. FC Bora Bora's Basarab Baltian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Tasis in the 5th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Axel Tasis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Costa Rica's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Tasis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Basarab Baltian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 10 minutes into the match, FC Bora Bora's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Tasis came free, but Basarab Baltian reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Lautaro Puig came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Costa Rica fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lautaro Puig couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 13th minute, Killian Jones managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hugo Ferrant hit a great ball. The supporters of FC Bora Bora booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abel Carballo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
