If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 梅超浩 stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Daniel Zorita's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 16th minute of play forced FC Druskininkai's goalkeeper 梅超浩 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. 梅超浩 made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Beržas Dirmeikis to make the kick off. Iigo Conchas hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Cristian Sancho got away a dangerous shot. Despite this 梅超浩 quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 63rd minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita came free and shot a quick shot against goal 67 minutes in the game, fortunately 梅超浩 had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Beržas Dirmeikis in the 70th minute of the match. 73 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 蒋思弘 was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Druskininkai's players had a chance to rest. After having played for 83 minutes, Erlandas Bačkys managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Druskininkai's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erlandas Bačkys was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Beržas Dirmeikis in the 84th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Druskininkai. In the 89th minute, Cristian Sancho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ecuador played a much better game than FC Druskininkai and deserved their victory. The FC Druskininkai players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
