Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Tomas Illescas got free in front of the goal in the 3rd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Miguel Gonzales was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A collision led to CA Boca Jrs MdP getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Jacek Penc hit a great ball. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mauricio Fonda, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. CA Boca Jrs MdP were awarded a corner in the 10th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mauricio Fonda took the corner. In the 13th minute, CA Boca Jrs MdP's Isaias Gaitano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Isaias Gaitano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Isaias Gaitano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 20th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Miguel Gonzales saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Isaias Gaitano went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Mauricio Fonda could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Miguel Gonzales showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomas Illescas in the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Aureo came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Isaias Gaitano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Tomas Illescas hit a great ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Jonathan Ferrant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Isaias Gaitano's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Gaitano, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Isaias Gaitano took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After 58 minutes of play, CA Boca Jrs MdP's Isaias Gaitano made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! 63 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Miguel Gonzales narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jorge Enmanuel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 68 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Mina. After 69 played minutes, CA Boca Jrs MdP's Mauricio Fonda shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CA Boca Jrs MdP reached it. CA Boca Jrs MdP made a substitution. Diego Cagna replaced Gogo Gartzea. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Gaitano in the 78th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Isaias Gaitano came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the CA Boca Jrs MdP fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Isaias Gaitano couldn't finish the play. Guillermo Mariano charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Guillermo Mariano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Guillermo Mariano hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. CA Boca Jrs MdP's Miguel Gonzales played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tomas Illescas in the 85th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by CA Boca Jrs MdP's Isaias Gaitano. But to his dismay, Isaias Gaitano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. 90 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Mauricio Fonda came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mariano to maneuver through the defense. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Gaitano in the 92nd minute of play. The supporters of CA Boca Jrs MdP booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. CA Boca Jrs MdP were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Venezuela for a fine match.
