Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Joel Gaona got the match started through his kick off. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Tsubasa in the 5th minute of play. Leonardo Jara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 6th minute of play. 7 minutes had been played when some careless play by Bandyklubben's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joel Gaona was slow to take the kick. During this time Mexico's players had a chance to rest. Leonardo Jara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 12th minute of play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oliver Tsubasa in the 16th minute of play. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 21st minute. When Joel Gaona came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Mexico fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joel Gaona couldn't finish the play. Leonardo Jara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tafalla, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Alberto Tafalla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dante Lacasa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gogo Maldonado, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Leonardo Jara showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. After 42 played minutes Bandyklubben got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Magnus Johnsson. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bandyklubben's goalkeeper Leonardo Jara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Oliver Tsubasa in the 53rd minute of play forced Mexico's goalkeeper Dante Lacasa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th match minute, Bandyklubben was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Magnus Johnsson to maneuver through the defense. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Leonardo Jara made a huge save. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Leonardo Jara successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luca Zorita during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 62nd match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Zorita to maneuver through the defense. Dante Lacasa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stefan Tunberg's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. Leonardo Jara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joel Gaona, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 73 played minutes Bandyklubben got a freekick which was hit by Gogo Maldonado. 75 minutes into the match, Bandyklubben's goal looked a bit too open when Facundo Cadaval came free, but Leonardo Jara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonardo Jara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tafalla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Bandyklubben's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Bandyklubben's goalie and right to Luca Zorita. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Bandyklubben's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 85 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Gogo Maldonado came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luca Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Leonardo Jara made a huge save. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Bandyklubben's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. In the 89th match minute, Bandyklubben was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oliver Tsubasa to maneuver through the defense. Billy Wahlström's late challenge caught a Mexico's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Billy Wahlström helped the player get up and apologised. Mexico's Joel Gaona shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 97th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Leonardo Jara but with some difficulty. When the match was over Mexico could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Bandyklubben throughout the match.
