Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Luisito Marino started the match with the kick off. Joaquin Gayoso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rômulo Guerra showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 3 minute of play. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Marino in the 8th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sabalero's Rômulo Guerra got a free kick in the 9th minute. After a rather tough play, Sabalero's Celso Cibran got a free kick in the 17th minute. When Luisito Marino in the 30th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Joaquin Gayoso kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 2-0 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. The audience was convinced that Luisito Marino's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Gayoso was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Rômulo Guerra made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 41stth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Joaquin Gayoso would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. Rômulo Guerras short, quick shot in the 41stth minute got Joaquin Gayoso to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Emilio Bibiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco Seco in the 45th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Francisco Seco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emilio Bibiano took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisco Seco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luisito Marino scored 4-0 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Joaquin Gayoso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 61 minutes into the match, Rômulo Guerra notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Uruguay's Joaquin Gayoso. Joaquin Gayoso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Uruguay were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Sabalero's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jaime Cazalla took the corner. Uruguay's Jaime Cazalla was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Emilio Bibiano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Maximiliano Escribano got free with Emilio Bibiano in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximiliano Escribano in the 74th minute of play forced Sabalero's goalkeeper Emilio Bibiano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Joaquin Gayoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rômulo Guerra in the 77th minute of play. Sabalero's Basilio Eneko was substituted for Luisito Marino. In the 90th minute of the match Uruguay got a corner. Sabalero's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Cazalla ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Alberto Gisbert got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Emilio Bibiano quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 93rd match minute, Uruguay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Gisbert to maneuver through the defense. In the 94th minute of the match Honorio Stephen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Joaquin Gayoso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Uruguay players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Sabalero.
