Severino Vergílio stood somewhat misplaced when Peter Flaa came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 18 minute. 23 minutes into the match, Belmiro Figueiredo notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC Pirates's Ognyan Pironkov. Ognyan Pironkov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Severino Vergílio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Flaa in the 27th minute of the match. Severino Vergílio was out of position in the 28 minute of play, and Peter Flaa capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Peter Flaa really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Ognyan Pironkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malte Örtendahl in the 35th minute of the match. Severino Vergílio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter Flaa in the 36th minute. After 42 played minutes Estação F.C got a freekick which was hit by Maurício Tróia. In the 44th minute, Peter Flaa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Peter Flaa was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Estação F.C defense, Peter Flaa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Severino Vergílio. The Estação F.C fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Severino Vergílio should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Estação F.C's Alex Gomes got a free kick in the 56th minute. Malte Örtendahl could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Ognyan Pironkov made a huge save. Alex Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Peter Flaa in the 61st minute of play forced Estação F.C's goalkeeper Severino Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to FC Pirates getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Valko Yazadzhiev hit a great ball. After 65 played minutes Estação F.C got a freekick which was hit by Falcão Albuquerque. Estação F.C's Miguel Silva was substituted for Nicanor Gorosti. Severino Vergílio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Peter Flaa in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 72ndth minute of the game Peter Flaa who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Estação F.C's Severino Vergílio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of FC Pirates booed when Estação F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eliseu Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Pirates made a substitution. Antoni Marichkov replaced Peter Flaa. Alex Gomes kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. In the 90th minute Antoni Marichkov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Severino Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severino Vergílio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Antoni Marichkov went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. FC Pirates's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
