Spectators: 47 (Terracing: 36, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 0) Ecuador's Daniel Zorita started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute of the game Primitivo Andino made a throw-in which Luis Andino played forward. 6 minutes into the match, Felix Montenegro notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Harsh Gods's Gersi Snabe. Gersi Snabe was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 13 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Lain came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Felix Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gersi Snabe having to interfere. Gersi Snabe showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agustín Saelices in the 19th minute of the match. Gersi Snabe made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Cristian Sancho sent off a good shot on target. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Gersi Snabe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Tomas Lain cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Luis Andino got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 34th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. Harsh Gods's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. Harsh Gods's Gersi Snabe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Harsh Gods from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Lain was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute Tomas Lain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 57th minute of play forced Harsh Gods's goalkeeper Gersi Snabe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Harsh Gods's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Daniel Zorita was slow to take the kick. During this time Ecuador's players had a chance to rest. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomas Lain, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gersi Snabe having to interfere. Ecuador's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Renatas Eidukonis scored to the left of an out of position Julio Vera, making the score, 2-2. Harsh Gods's Renatas Eidukonis got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Ecuador's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Roberto Carlos fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Harsh Gods made a substitution. Jokūbas Miškūnas replaced Gabriele Meilutyte. Tomas Lain could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. In the 79th minute, Xosepin Verdeja made a precise shot to the right of Julio Vera. Ecuador's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. Julio Vera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Renatas Eidukonis in the 85th minute of the match. After 87 minutes, Felix Montenegro mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ecuador and the Harsh Gods players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 88th minute, Felix Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Harsh Gods getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. The Ecuador manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Harsh Gods to win.
