Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Cristian Sancho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ognyan Pironkov. That made the score 1-0 after 6 minutes of play. Thanks to some nice moves Daniel Zorita could shoot a difficult shot in the 9th minute, which Ognyan Pironkov however easily saved by the left post. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Flaa in the 14th minute of play. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Peter Flaa, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. When Peter Flaa came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the FC Pirates fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Peter Flaa couldn't finish the play. Ognyan Pironkov made a fantastic save in the 32nd minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. 37 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ognyan Pironkov narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Ecuador's zone, Reinaert Van Der Veecken stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Julio Vera came out of the goal and Reinaert Van Der Veecken tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peter Flaa made a kick off. Primitivo Andino kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. After some careless play in the FC Pirates defense, Daniel Zorita kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ognyan Pironkov. The FC Pirates fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ognyan Pironkov should have stopped the shot. Ognyan Pironkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 60th minute of the match. The corner led FC Pirates's Toma Drashanski to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Valko Yazadzhiev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. Ognyan Pironkov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 73rd minute of the match. Agustín Saelices kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Agustín Saelices hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 79 minutes Ecuador's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Toma Drashanski who took care of the corner kick. The corner led FC Pirates's Toma Drashanski to fire away a dangerous shot which Julio Vera despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 80th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ognyan Pironkov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 84 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Antoni Marichkov came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ognyan Pironkov showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Luis Andino hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Bayan Pantev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, FC Pirates's Antoni Marichkov sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julio Vera narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Toma Drashanski was slow to take the kick. During this time FC Pirates's players had a chance to rest. FC Pirates's Toma Drashanski was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Antoni Marichkov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 94th minute of the match, but Julio Vera made a huge save. Daniel Zorita recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that Ecuador were the better team. Ecuador's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
