After 17 played minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper 盛世 Kahn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ecuador reached it. The audience was convinced that Kain Abel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julio Vera was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kain Abel's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. A collision led to O D M I E Ń C Y ™ getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Napoleon Turacki hit a great ball. Ecuador's Cristian Sancho got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 盛世 Kahn came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Ecuador's Daniel Zorita. But to his dismay, Daniel Zorita quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Milosz Hejza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 63rd minute of play forced O D M I E Ń C Y ™'s goalkeeper 盛世 Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 盛世 Kahn made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 66th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in O D M I E Ń C Y ™'s zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 盛世 Kahn came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kain Abel went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Kain Abel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edgar Bury's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Edmund Gondek kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, O D M I E Ń C Y ™'s Edmund Gondek got a free kick in the 89th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Bury in the 92nd minute of play. When the match had gone on for 93 minutes, Felix Montenegro took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for 盛世 Kahn to make any attempt to save it.
