Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Daniel Zorita got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute, Daniel Zorita ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arvid Uggla was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Arvid Uggla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luis Andino in the 9th minute of play. Arvid Uggla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 12th minute of play. In the 21st minute of the match AIK got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hubert Vesterberg ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Hubert Vesterberg almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ecuador's Julio Vera did a great save. Julio Vera came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by AIK's Leonard Kjellqvist. But to his dismay, Leonard Kjellqvist quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 26thth minute of the game Felix Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AIK's Arvid Uggla was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Arvid Uggla showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Gustaf Håkansson sent off a good shot on target. In the 43rd minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arvid Uggla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonard Kjellqvist made a kick off. In the 57th minute, AIK's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Felix Montenegro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 59th play minutes Daniel Zorita shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Arvid Uggla and just under the crossbar into goal. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvid Uggla having to interfere. Camilo Gisbert kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. A collision led to AIK getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Alfredo Kimetz hit a great ball. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arvid Uggla having to interfere. Ecuador's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
