Julian Murillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 白延珂 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. Reinaldo Diniz charged in rather forcefully in the 43rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Reinaldo Diniz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Gracias a la Pelota - DAM getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Gracias a la Pelota - DAM made a substitution. Sylvester Grubbs replaced Caio Silveira. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jurgen Habermas was slow to take the kick. During this time Gracias a la Pelota - DAM's players had a chance to rest. In the 81st minute, Peru's Julian Murillo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. Peru's Rafael Gallo was substituted for Julian Murillo. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Nicodème Lamoureux made in the 88th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Kendrick Zeigler immediately put the ball in play. Rafael Gallo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 白延珂 came out and tried to block the shot, but Rafael Gallo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-4 in the 96th minute. When the match was over Peru could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Gracias a la Pelota - DAM throughout the match.
