Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Iñigo Pedrosa made the kick off which started today's match. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Amerigo Vida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amerigo Vida made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 5th minute of play. In the 6th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. USD Marosticense's Amerigo Vida played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 8th minute of play. Ecuador were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after USD Marosticense's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Daniel Zorita took the corner. 10 minutes into the game, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Amerigo Vida made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 15th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. USD Marosticense's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Ecuador's Felix Montes getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 22nd minute, Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luis Andino fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amerigo Vida having to interfere. Julio Vera was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Taniel Valter showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 25 minute of play. Taniel Valter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the USD Marosticense defense, Luis Andino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Amerigo Vida. The USD Marosticense fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Amerigo Vida should have stopped the shot. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Amerigo Vida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Agustín Saelices ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Amerigo Vida was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. 40 minutes into the match, Agustín Saelices notched a goal, 1-4, to the right of USD Marosticense's Amerigo Vida. Amerigo Vida was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Daniel Zorita in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amerigo Vida saved USD Marosticense from getting behind. Daniel Zorita struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Amerigo Vida didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Amerigo Vida took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Montenegro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Daniel Zorita was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 53rd minute. Ecuador's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Iñigo Pedrosa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Taniel Valter's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute USD Marosticense were awarded a corner. Iñigo Pedrosa went to the cornerflag to take it. A collision led to USD Marosticense getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Göksun Uçanay hit a great ball. In the 64th minute, Taniel Valter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taniel Valter, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 74 minutes into the game, Cristian Sancho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Amerigo Vida. Cristian Sancho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-5. With a little luck, USD Marosticense's Amerigo Vida got control of the ball when Agustín Saelices tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Agustín Saelices had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Taniel Valter, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Amerigo Vida didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Daniel Zorita went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Taniel Valter fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julio Vera having to interfere. In the 92nd minute, Agustín Saelices got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Amerigo Vida in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
