Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. A very good chance for a goal. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Chazen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 14th minute of play forced Black Hołdunów's goalkeeper Jan Motyl to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Chazen in the 25th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Black Hołdunów's Iwo Odachowski got a free kick in the 26th minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from John Dahlqvist in the 28th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Olgierd Wojtowicz got free with Julio Vera in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Birol Atabey hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Edward Chazen to strike the kick off in the second half. If Olgierd Wojtowicz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Black Hołdunów:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ecuador:s goal. When the match had been going on for 84 minutes, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Jan Motyl. Antonio Arias hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After 91 played minutes, Black Hołdunów's Zenon Waselewicz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Julio Vera came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Black Hołdunów reached it. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sebastian Mitus in the 92nd minute of play. Jan Motyl made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Daniel Zorita sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
