Mor Vidlák received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Julio Vera tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Vidlákov SK getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Ctibor Šich hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mor Vidlák in the 9th minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Vidlákov SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Britto didn't get a good kick on the ball. Johny Vidlák kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Cristian Sancho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yao Yang Peng read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 23rd minute of play. After 24 minutes Vidlákov SK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Daniel Zorita who took care of the corner kick. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Yao Yang Peng didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Vidlákov SK's Yao Yang Peng played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luis Andino in the 32nd minute of play forced Vidlákov SK's goalkeeper Yao Yang Peng to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Yao Yang Peng narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Johny Vidlák's late challenge caught a Ecuador's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 40th minute, Daniel Zorita left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ecuador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a little luck, Ecuador's Julio Vera got control of the ball when Johny Vidlák tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 44th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yao Yang Peng saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 45th minute, Ctibor Šich hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Zorita stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Vidlákov SK got a freekick which was hit by Ctibor Šich. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 61st minute. After a rather tough play, Vidlákov SK's Rodolfo Britto got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. Felix Montenegro was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Cristian Sancho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Yao Yang Peng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Daniel Zorita in the 75th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Mor Vidlák managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vidlákov SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Mor Vidlák was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julio Vera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Yao Yang Peng made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristian Sancho in the 79th minute. After some careless play in the Ecuador defense, Miroslav Pavel kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Julio Vera. The Ecuador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Julio Vera should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Daniel Zorita got free with Yao Yang Peng in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Vidlákov SK's Yao Yang Peng got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Antonio Arias hit a great ball. Rodolfo Britto, 96 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
