Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Tomas Illescas got the match started through his kick off. Patricio Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Waldir Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Lamberto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 20 minutes into the game, C. S. Peron y Belgrano's Pascual Lamberto nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jonathan Ferrant made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. If Pascual Lamberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 24th minute Pascual Lamberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pascual Lamberto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waldir Araújo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Erasmo Filiz kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, C. S. Peron y Belgrano's Pascual Lamberto ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Pascual Lamberto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. C. S. Peron y Belgrano's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pascual Lamberto in the 50th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Hilario Janpier heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

A collision led to C. S. Peron y Belgrano getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Pascual Lamberto hit a great ball. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Joshua Secada got a free kick in the 70th minute. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pascual Lamberto in the 74th minute of play. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. Waldir Araújo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 83rd minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 88th minute of the game. One of Venezuela:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of C. S. Peron y Belgrano:s goal. In the 90th minute there was a penalty for C. S. Peron y Belgrano. Pascual Lamberto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jonathan Ferrant. 3-0. When Patricio Costa fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Patricio Costa a yellow card for diving instead. In the 92nd match minute, Venezuela was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Patricio Costa to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Patricio Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Patricio Costa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Waldir Araújo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 99th minute, Teo Playo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tomas Illescas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 100th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
