Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of pamponiros booed when Mexico was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joel Gaona didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the game, pamponiros's Fondas Zachakis nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dante Lacasa made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in pamponiros's zone, Alberto Tafalla stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fanis Giannakopoulos came out of the goal and Alberto Tafalla tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Nikos Servetiadis was extremely unlucky when he, in the 13th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Koulis Giotakis hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Joel Gaona took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 15th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fanis Giannakopoulos. pamponiros's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Alberto Tafalla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, pamponiros's Nikos Servetiadis got a free kick in the 21st minute. In the 24th minute Mexico were awarded a corner. Joel Gaona went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Mexico's corner Joel Gaona fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Fanis Giannakopoulos quite easily take care of the ball. After 27 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Alberto Tafalla. After 29 minutes of play, pamponiros's Tito Villalba made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dante Lacasa was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 32 played minutes pamponiros got a freekick which was hit by Ruben Natanael. Fanis Giannakopoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 33rd minute of the match. In the 34th minute Nikos Servetiadis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 played minutes pamponiros got a freekick which was hit by Koulis Giotakis. After having played for 37 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mexico's Lautaro Mancebo got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 43 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Nikos Servetiadis came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Joel Gaona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fondas Zachakis to make the kick off. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fondas Zachakis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Fanis Giannakopoulos successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Alberto Tafalla could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Fanis Giannakopoulos made a huge save. After having played for 67 minutes, Joel Gaona managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mexico's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Gaona was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 74th minute, Tito Villalba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The pamponiros fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0.
