Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Axel Tasis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 5 minutes into the game, Cellule's Adil Albrecht nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Faudel Marro charged in rather forcefully in the 13th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Faudel Marro the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 13 played minutes Cellule got a freekick which was hit by Faudel Marro. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adil Albrecht in the 19th minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serge Vielle, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. In the 23rd minute, Serge Vielle made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 28th minute Adil Albrecht shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adil Albrecht got in the 28th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Benito Sanz handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. A collision led to Costa Rica getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Alexander Carballo hit a great ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Serge Vielle in the 34th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Serge Vielle in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benito Sanz saved Costa Rica from getting behind. Aaron Alcocer hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Pierre-Louis Berrier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adil Albrecht made a kick off. Benito Sanz was out of position in the 50 minute of play, and Adil Albrecht capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Adil Albrecht really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Serge Vielle sent off a good shot on target. Adil Albrecht's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 65th minute of play. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Serge Vielle sent off a good shot on target. In the 69th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Abel Carballo to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Serge Vielle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Serge Vielle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cellule's Adil Albrecht got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adil Albrecht, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Serge Vielle got free with Benito Sanz in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Benito Sanz had great luck who in the 84thth minute grab hold of the ball when Adil Albrecht from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 93rd match minute, Cellule was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Martin Hayot to maneuver through the defense. When the match was over Cellule could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Costa Rica throughout the match.
