It was a well-played corner which Valko De Hond managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 25th minute of play forced Jarana FC's goalkeeper Tadeo Distiratsu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jarana FC's Tadeo Distiratsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 26th minute of play. Jarana FC's Tadeo Distiratsu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 37th minute of play. In the 38th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alberto Tafalla to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Joel Gaona to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tadeo Distiratsu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 58th minute of the game was made by Luca Zorita with Joel Gaona as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Dante Lacasa didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilfredo Gitano went, in the 59th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. In the 68th minute, Wilfredo Gitano made a precise shot to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. Tadeo Distiratsu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Tafalla's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 73rd minute. The corner ended in Lautaro Mancebo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jarana FC's Tadeo Distiratsu did a great save. Tadeo Distiratsu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lautaro Mancebo's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Alberto Tafalla dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Tadeo Distiratsu, 3-4. 87 minutes had been played when some careless play by Mexico's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Yang Yao Kuan was slow to take the kick. During this time Jarana FC's players had a chance to rest. Jarana FC's Yang Yao Kuan was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dante Lacasa in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Jarana FC's Tadeo Distiratsu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Jarana FC from getting a goal against them. Mexico's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
