Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Joel Gaona started the match with the kick off. Dante Lacasa was out of position in the 4 minute of play, and Tizian Stange capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tizian Stange really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. 7 minutes into the match, Mexico's goal looked a bit too open when Pang Hong came free, but Dante Lacasa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 9th minute of play forced Dragons XI's goalkeeper Alejo Fe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 13th minute Tizian Stange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute of the match, Pang Hong tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dante Lacasa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dragons XI's Alejo Fe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Gaona in the 19th minute of play. With a little luck, Mexico's Dante Lacasa got control of the ball when Tizian Stange tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dante Lacasa made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Dinu Grecea sent off a good shot on target. Marc-Dominic Schnurrer hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pang Hong in the 28th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute, Dragons XI's Tizian Stange ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dante Lacasa. Dante Lacasa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Mexico's Dante Lacasa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pang Hong in the 43rd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Dragons XI's Dinu Grecea got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 55th match minute, Dragons XI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renato Leonhard to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Alberto Tafalla kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Alejo Fe. That made the score 2-1 in the 61 minute of play. In the 64th minute Pang Hong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dinu Grecea kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. After 66 played minutes Dragons XI got a freekick which was hit by Dinu Grecea. In the 72nd match minute, Dragons XI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marc-Dominic Schnurrer to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Lorenzo Cazalla hit a great ball. 75 minutes into the match, Dragons XI's Linus von Scheliha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dante Lacasa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 95 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Felix Luque. Dragons XI succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Mexico had controlled the match.
