Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tizian Stange in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Dragons XI booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Costa during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Patricio Costa hit a great ball. With a little luck, Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant got control of the ball when Dinu Grecea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pang Hong could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. Venezuela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 27th minute, when Pang Hong scored to the left of an out of position Jonathan Ferrant, making the score, 2-0. If Pang Hong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pang Hong in the 29th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Pang Hong shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pang Hong in the 37th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dinu Grecea in the 39th minute. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Venezuela from getting a goal against them. Alejo Fe made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 95th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Dragons XI fully deserved thier win.
