An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Casaus in the 20th minute of play forced Cañada Juniors's goalkeeper Jonatan Bortzaioriz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 21st minute, Mariano Lacasa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Chile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Despite this Jonatan Bortzaioriz quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 35thth minute of the game Guillermo Fontirroig who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cañada Juniors's Jonatan Bortzaioriz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.
