Iosif Găman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Rolando Noboa made a huge save. 26 minutes into the match, Peru's Julian Murillo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Iacob Povară narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 27th minute of the match Peru got a corner. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. Julian Murillo was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Iacob Povară came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Eliseo Mina. But to his dismay, Eliseo Mina quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 33rd minute of play forced F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalkeeper Iacob Povară to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 34th minute Luz Tejedor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iacob Povară saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 37th minute of play forced F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalkeeper Iacob Povară to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 38 minutes into the match, Julian Murillo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Iacob Povară. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Julian Murillo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. 44 minutes into the game, Viorel Gurzău threw the ball into play from the sideline. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silviu Latarețu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute the ball was on its way in behind F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's goalkeeper Iacob Povară, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. But to his dismay, Luz Tejedor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA made a substitution. Francisc Ciocoiu replaced Iosif Găman. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Gheorghe Bociort was substituted for Silviu Latarețu. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gheorghe Bociort, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's Iacob Povară proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save F.C CLUJ MEDICINA from getting a goal against them. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gheorghe Bociort in the 86th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisc Ciocoiu in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Noboa saved Peru from getting behind. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Peru's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luca Pancu was slow to take the kick. During this time F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on F.C CLUJ MEDICINA's corner Luca Pancu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rolando Noboa quite easily take care of the ball. Rolando Noboa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gheorghe Bociort's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Iulian Nicorici kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match.
