Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Fabien Péronne took the kick off in the first half of the match. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Samy Calvez in the 3rd minute. 7 minutes into the game, Lamine Poinsignon lined in a short shot 1-0 behind a frustrated Benito Sanz. A collision led to Cellule getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Lamine Poinsignon hit a great ball. After 11 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Juan Rubio. Benito Sanz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabien Péronne in the 13th minute. When Alan Moruga fell near the penalty area in the 15th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Alan Moruga a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Cellule booed when Costa Rica was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alan Moruga didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabien Péronne in the 17th minute of play. Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Lamine Poinsignon sent off a good shot on target. Benito Sanz came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cellule's Lamine Poinsignon. But to his dismay, Lamine Poinsignon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Kylian Doisy hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Fabien Péronne got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jack Gasnier having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliseo Noboa in the 37th minute of play forced Cellule's goalkeeper Jack Gasnier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabien Péronne in the 38th minute of play. Jack Gasnier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aaron Alcocer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 54th minute, Fabien Péronne left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cellule fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Axel Tasis during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Axel Tasis kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. In the 64th minute Fabien Péronne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alan Moruga to maneuver through the defense. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabien Péronne in the 82nd minute of the match. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fabien Péronne, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lamine Poinsignon in the 88th minute of play. Lautaro Puig's late challenge caught a Cellule's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lautaro Puig helped the player get up and apologised. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lamine Poinsignon in the 92nd minute of play. Jack Gasnier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Tasis in the 95th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Cellule fully deserved thier win.
