An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcos Ferman in the 9th minute of play forced El Salvador's goalkeeper Ricardo Zorita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the El Salvador defense, Marcos Ferman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ricardo Zorita. The El Salvador fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ricardo Zorita should have stopped the shot. 17 minutes into the game, Marcos Ferman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Ricardo Zorita was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ricardo Zorita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Ferman in the 25th minute of the match. 26 minutes into the match, Marcos Ferman notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Abram Luque in the 30thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Paul Miclescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The supporters of El Salvador booed when Gloria Bistrita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emil Tøsted didn't get a good kick on the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Moises Fernandino had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Paul Miclescu. Gloria Bistrita's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Moises Fernandino was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Ricardo Zorita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Ferman in the 44th minute of play. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Moises Fernandino to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita got control of the ball when Mihail Botgros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristinel Voina made in the 56th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Marian Poremba immediately put the ball in play. Ricardo Zorita was a little too slow when Marcos Ferman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 57th minute. The score was now 1-4. In the 62nd minute, Gloria Bistrita's Marcos Ferman dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-5. Moises Fernandino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Paul Miclescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 71 minutes of play, Gloria Bistrita's Mihail Botgros made it 1-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Zorita was left in no man's land by his defense there! Valentino Ferrant kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Lorenzo Yepes was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 78 minutes into the match. Ricardo Zorita had in the 80thth minute some difficulties stopping Marian Poremba's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After having played for 82 minutes, Abram Luque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. El Salvador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abram Luque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Moises Fernandino hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, Mihail Botgros notched a goal, 1-8, to the right of El Salvador's Ricardo Zorita. Ricardo Zorita was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 96 minutes, Martin Plopșor mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gloria Bistrita and the El Salvador players grew even worse after the yellow card. Martin Plopșor hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. In the 97th minute, Moises Fernandino left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The El Salvador fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-8. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Gloria Bistrita walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
