Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mariano Lacasa took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Chile's Mariano Lacasa sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Boyd Winkler narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pueblo FC's Boyd Winkler played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Lacasa in the 6th minute of play. With his leg Thiago Pliego managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Pueblo FC's Vern Wright fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mariano Lacasa in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Boyd Winkler saved Pueblo FC from getting behind. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vern Wright in the 26th minute. In the 32nd minute Mariano Lacasa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boyd Winkler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boyd Winkler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerry Franco, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The supporters of Pueblo FC booed when Chile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisco Carballar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gerry Franco who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Thiago Pliego when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jaime McClendon in the 45th minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Vern Wright to make the kick off. Boyd Winkler didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mariano Lacasa went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. With an all-out effort, Chile's Boyd Winkler threw himself towards the right post 60 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Mariano Lacasa, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerry Franco in the 65th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mariano Lacasa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Boyd Winkler made a huge save. Boyd Winkler took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Vern Wright's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Thiago Pliego was relentless in the 72nd minute of the game.
