Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Tomas Illescas made the kick off and thus started the match. Tomas Illescas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mark Nilsson having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomas Illescas in the 4th minute of play forced Djurgårdens IF's goalkeeper Mark Nilsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A hard shot 7 in the game by Börje Fagerberg from a close distance when the talented Jonathan Ferrant managed to make a qualified save. Venezuela's players were relieved. Guillermo Mariano kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 11 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Best Man came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pankracy Oborski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pankracy Oborski in the 15th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Pankracy Oborski came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Djurgårdens IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pankracy Oborski couldn't finish the play. Jonathan Ferrant was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Pankracy Oborski showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 27 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Tomas Illescas managed to get in a good position for a shot. Venezuela's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomas Illescas was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mark Nilsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Best Man in the 31st minute of the match. When Best Man fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Djurgårdens IF's protests and gave Best Man a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th minute, Best Man hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the match, Djurgårdens IF's goal looked a bit too open when Tomas Illescas came free, but Mark Nilsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pankracy Oborski in the 45th minute of play. Jose Correa hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Börje Fagerberg to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. After some careless play in the Venezuela defense, Börje Fagerberg kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Börje Fagerberg took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pankracy Oborski in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Ferrant prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 67th minute of the match Djurgårdens IF got a corner. Venezuela's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Best Man ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well done corner resulted in Pankracy Oborski drilling the ball in to score 6-1 behind Venezuela's goalkeeper. After 75 minutes, Guillermo Mariano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Venezuela and the Djurgårdens IF players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 74 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Venezuela! The referee gave Djurgårdens IF a penalty, 76 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Pankracy Oborski, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. 7-1. In the 78th match minute, Djurgårdens IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Helge Lindman to maneuver through the defense. Tomas Illescas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Djurgårdens IF's Ingemar Josefsson got a free kick in the 85th minute. In the 88th minute, Ingemar Josefsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pankracy Oborski in the 92nd minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Pankracy Oborski made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. Jonathan Ferrant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Best Man in the 96th minute of the match. Patricio Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 98th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Djurgårdens IF walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
