A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Bartlomiej Cizeski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Patricio Costa in the 19th minute of the match. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Algot Mårtensson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to FC Bajen getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Jan-Åke Tolsson hit a great ball. When FC Bajen's Johan Aleberg in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Venezuela's goalie prevented a goal. If Tomas Illescas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Patricio Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Jose Correa hit a great ball. After 40 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. After having played for 41 minutes, Johan Aleberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Bajen's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johan Aleberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Camilo Gaos charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Gaos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Camilo Gaos kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Elias Siöberg could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Jonathan Ferrant made a huge save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Johan Aleberg made the kick off in the second half. Bartlomiej Cizeski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tomas Illescas went, in the 51st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Bartlomiej Cizeski came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Venezuela's Tomas Illescas. But to his dismay, Tomas Illescas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Bartlomiej Cizeski made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Tomas Illescas sent off a good shot on target. 63 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when August Valström came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Joshua Secada hit a great ball. In the 68th minute, Elias Siöberg made a precise shot to the right of Jonathan Ferrant. Venezuela's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Jan-Åke Tolsson charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jan-Åke Tolsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Venezuela booed when FC Bajen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jan-Åke Tolsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. 80 minutes had been played when some careless play by FC Bajen's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomas Illescas was slow to take the kick. During this time Venezuela's players had a chance to rest. A well-hit corner resulted in Salvador Gisbert heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. The audience was convinced that Johan Aleberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jonathan Ferrant was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. August Valström made in the 85th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Venezuela's Alex Chicote. Alex Chicote's late challenge caught a FC Bajen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Chicote helped the player get up and apologised. Alex Chicote hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. In the 93rd minute Johan Aleberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonathan Ferrant saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Venezuela players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
