Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Mariano Lacasa started the match with the kick off. Chile's Thiago Pliego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ercole Mian in the 12th minute of play. In the 14th minute of the match Borgo Doria F.C. got a corner. Chile's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Michal Beninda ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Michal Beninda got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thiago Pliego quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 18 minutes into the match, Ercole Mian notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Corrado Spitaleri made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. Mariano Lacasa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Corrado Spitaleri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariano Lacasa might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Corrado Spitaleri. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mariano Lacasa ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ercole Mian in the 37th minute of play forced Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Scutti in the 39th minute of play. When Borgo Doria F.C.'s Alberto Scutti in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chile's goalie prevented a goal. In the 45th minute, Alberto Scutti ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thiago Pliego was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Alberto Scutti made the kick off in the second half. With his leg Thiago Pliego managed to avoid a goal in the 54thth minute, when Borgo Doria F.C.'s Alberto Scutti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Bottone in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute Alberto Scutti shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ercole Mian, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Borgo Doria F.C. were awarded a corner in the 66th minute after Chile's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Michal Beninda took the corner. The corner led Borgo Doria F.C.'s Michal Beninda to fire away a dangerous shot which Thiago Pliego despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Scutti in the 69th minute. With his leg Thiago Pliego managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Borgo Doria F.C.'s Alberto Scutti fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Corrado Spitaleri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mariano Lacasa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Corrado Spitaleri was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Thiago Pliego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alberto Scutti in the 92nd minute. Fabio Bottone hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Corrado Spitaleri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mariano Lacasa, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The Borgo Doria F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Borgo Doria F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
