Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Mexico's Joel Gaona started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Gwidon Arnista received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dante Lacasa came out and tried to block the shot, but Gwidon Arnista slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 3rd minute. Marian Gniech showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Marian Gniech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo in the 8th minute of play. Dante Lacasa came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Zagórna's Jan-Åke Fransson. But to his dismay, Jan-Åke Fransson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Joel Gaona had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 17th minute Florian Kapinos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jan-Åke Fransson in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dante Lacasa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Dante Lacasa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jan-Åke Fransson in the 27th minute. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Gwidon Arnista had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Zagórna getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Gwidon Arnista hit a great ball. Alberto Tafalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Jan-Åke Fransson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dante Lacasa having to make a save. Mexico's Dante Lacasa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Mexico from getting a goal against them. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jan-Åke Fransson to make the kick off. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uluç Tekinalp in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 54th minute of play forced Zagórna's goalkeeper Marian Gniech to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Mexico getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Leonardo Leoz hit a great ball. Zagórna's Jaroslaw Milko was substituted for Florian Kapinos. In the 57th minute, Leonardo Leoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dante Lacasa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jan-Åke Fransson in the 59th minute of the match. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Åke Fransson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes in the game, Joel Gaona fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Marian Gniech having to interfere. In the 67th minute Gwidon Arnista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th match minute, Mexico was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leonardo Leoz to maneuver through the defense. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marian Gniech having to interfere. Zagórna's Tiburcio Kiliz was substituted for Gwidon Arnista. Zagórna's Ziemowit Soszka was substituted for Gică Popescu. In the 83rd minute of the match, Lautaro Mancebo got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marian Gniech was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mexico's Facundo Cadaval got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 88th minute Alberto Tafalla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marian Gniech saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marian Gniech made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Gaona in the 89th minute of play. Lautaro Mancebo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Marian Gniech tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Many of Mexico's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Mexico may have spent more time on the ball, but Zagórna were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
